Sheryl is a University of West Florida alumna, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Administration. She began a paralegal journey in Pensacola, Florida. She later relocated to Tallahassee in 1995, where she continued her career in the legal field.
With years of experience in the legal field, Sheryl brings organization, care, and attention to detail to her role at CFNF. She manages grant cycles from application and review through approval, distribution, and reporting. In addition, Sheryl works closely with nonprofit partners to help them build long-term financial stability through endowments, providing guidance on strategy and sustainability. She also works directly with donors to review their grantmaking, discuss their giving priorities, and provide updates on the impact of their grants, while building and maintaining strong relationships.
Beyond her professional contributions, Sheryl has long demonstrated a deep commitment to community service. From supporting local schools and churches to volunteering with Gulf Winds Track Club and the American Cancer Society, she has invested her time and energy into strengthening the community she calls home.
Sheryl has also dedicated her volunteer efforts to diverse organizations, including Holy Comforter Episcopal School, Maclay School, local churches, Gulf Winds Track Club, and the American Cancer Society.
