2026 Share Your Story Video Challenge Grant Application

APPLICATION DETAILS

The Share Your Story Video Challenge Grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations located in Leon County who are currently serving Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) members of our community. This is your opportunity to tell your story for how your organization demonstrates supporting this population. Grant Amount is $1,500 per organization The Community Foundation of North Florida (CFNF) partners with Prime Meridian Bank which is now MidFlorida Credit Union to offer ten $1,500 unrestricted grants to organizations who are serving LMI members in Leon County. DEADLINE IS APRIL 30, 2026 at 11:59 P.M.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. This grant opportunity is limited to nonprofit organizations located in Leon County that are currently serving LMI members of the community. 2. Eligible applicants include organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, as well as public schools, religious institutions, and government agencies serving Leon County.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

1. Must not exceed 60 seconds. 2. Include at least one story of impact that demonstrates how your organization serves LMI community members in Leon County. 3. Post on your organization’s Facebook page and make “public” so that it can be shared. 4. Tag CFNF @CommunityFoundationofNorthFlorida and Prime Meridian Bank which is now MidFlorida Credit Union @MidFloridaCreditUnion. 5. No copyrighted materials (music, images, etc.) may be used for this video challenge unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this purpose. Written permission must be obtained and provided upon request for all copyrighted materials. This video does NOT have to be a professional video.

VIDEO RECOMMENDATIONS

Be sure the video is clear as to how your organization serves LMI community members. The story you share should be impactful. You may want to include metrics/outcomes. If possible, shoot on location (at your office or where you serve LMI community members). A microphone should be used and be aware of background noise that might interfere with the story you want to share. FInally, shoot horizontally to facilitate sharing on social media.

VIDEO UPLOAD & INSTRUCTIONS

1. Upload your video to your NPO’s Facebook account. 2. In the caption of your post, be sure to tag The Community Foundation of North Florida (@CommunityFoundationofNorthFlorida) and Prime Meridian Bank, now MidFlorida Credit Union (@MidFloridaCreditUnion). 3. Be sure to set your video to “Public” view. 4. To get the submission link: Mobile: Open your post, tap the three dots in the top right corner, and select “Copy link.” Desktop: Click the timestamp (month, day, time) to open the post in a new page, then copy the URL from the address bar. 5. Paste the Facebook video link into the designated field on the application below.

VIDEO RELEASE WAIVER

My organization is willingly participating in the Share Your Story Video Challenge presented by the Community Foundation of North Florida (CFNF). By signing this waiver, on behalf of (Name of Organization submitting grant application), I hereby grant CFNF the irrevocable right and permission to use, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display the likeness, voices, and participants in the submitted video content. This includes the use of any images, names, and biographical information for promotional, educational, or any other lawful purposes related to the Share Your Story Video Grant Challenge and CFNF. I acknowledge that CFNF has the right to use the submitted video content, and my organization waives any claims or demands regarding the use, alteration, or manipulation of the content. I also understand that my organization and any of the video participants will not receive compensation for participation or for the use of the video content by CFNF. I confirm that I am authorized to represent (Name of Organization submitting this Grant Application) and agree to the terms of this waiver.
